Comtech at the 71st Traveling Assembly Conference and Exhibition of the Hungarian Electrical Engineering Association – Focusing on the Future of Hungary’s Power Industry

Comtech once again participated in the 71st Traveling Assembly Conference and Exhibition  of the Hungarian Electrical Engineering Association (MEE), held in Szeged between 23–25 September 2025. Over the years, the Conference has become the most important professional gathering of the Hungarian electric power industry, successfully combining a high-level conference with a major technical exhibition.

In the Focus: Hungary’s Energy Sector.

The central theme of this year’s event in Szeged was the collaborative shaping of the present and future of the Hungarian electric power industry. The plenary sessions and technical presentations addressed numerous key challenges that will define the transformation of energy systems in the coming years, including grid development, digitalisation, security of supply, energy market trends and sustainability.

For our company, the sessions and discussions focusing on the future of network monitoring, power quality and distribution grid innovations were particularly valuable – all fields in which Comtech has been a committed developer for decades.

A New Joint Identity: COMTECH × F4STER = GridAid.

Naturally, Comtech was once again present at the Traveling Assembly Conference – but this year with a special new feature. Our stand introduced GridAid, the new brand jointly developed with F4STER, making its debut with a fresh look and attracting strong professional interest.

The aim of this joint presence was to showcase even more clearly the integrated solutions with which we support domestic grid operators and industrial stakeholders. A large number of experts visited our booth, showing great interest in our products and developments, and we successfully established several new professional connections.
